I am so excited to have just found the Losing It- 10 week weight loss competition at Giving Up on Perfect because I need all the support I can get! Not only that but I need some accountability on the weekends.
I hear you, “But it’s Friday?” I’m going to let you in on a little secret. My weight is always lower on Friday than it is at my Monday weigh-ins. What’s that about? It could be just normal weight fluctuations or it could be that I am really bad and don’t work out or watch what I eat on the weekends anything like I do during the week. Yikes!
Today I am 1.5 pounds lighter than I was on Monday. Will I gain or lose from here until then? We shall see…
Challenge check-in:
My food tracking is going awesome this week! I finally starting keeping track on a calorie counting website and was startled to find that I haven’t been eating enough calories which is probably contributing to my fatigue and impeding my weight loss. That is not the surprise I thought I’d get when I started counting calories!
I’ve come pretty close to my water quota every day and boot camped it 5 times this week. Once again, I will not be going tomorrow because my knee needs a rest! My goal this weekend is to stick with the program!
Gratuitous boot camp testimonial: I swear, this boot camp is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. My friends are waiting on me so I have to get up. Our instructor has pushed me way outside of my comfort zone and I’m doing things I never thought I could. I’m learning to try new things and just do what I can and to be patient and stick with it when things are really hard. I will be so, so sad when it ends!
This is a call to action for all you former Get in Shape Girls gone soft like me! As much as I loath New Year's Resolutions, I made one this year and I'm sticking to it... lazy me is history! You in?
